A Vision Board - Have What You See

By Steve Charles

Heard of that saying 'seeing is believing'? Well that's exactly what happens when you use a vision board

This is how it works; a vision board is simply an appealing collection of images and affirmations that you use when you want to attract success, dreams, objects of desire and fulfil your ambitions. In a nutshell, vision boards are used to plan your road map to everything you want and hope for.

Everyone who trusts and believes the Law of Attraction should understand that when you look at a vision board it's simply a matter of 'what you see is what you get'. That's all there is to it.

Vision boards are the sure-fire method from taking you right from the very first step of visualizing, through to the final step of manifesting. There are some important stages in between, but let's concentrate on those first steps in the process and make sure we understand that before moving on.

Manifesting is the end of the journey and creative visualization is the beginning, but it's not a hard thing to do. After all, we all daydream and all have our own thoughts and dreams and aspirations in life, and that goes right back to our early childhood days. It's nothing new to us and we don't need to be taught, it comes totally natural.

When you make a vision board, what you are doing is transferring all your thoughts, wants and daydreams onto a board. You are putting your thoughts into images that reflect everything you want from life. But it's a process that requires careful thought and planning; you need to really think of exactly what you want and that applies when asking for wealth and prosperity, good health or happy relationships.

Unfortunately this planning stage is where some people may go wrong; their focus being targeted on all the 'don't wants' rather than the 'do wants'. An example of that would be if someone wanted to take part in their local marathon and wrongly ask for an end to their back ache rather than asking to be fit and healthy.

If you ask for something 'not to happen' you are making a fundamental mistake with the Law of Attraction. Let me explain; the Law of Attraction will respond to what you ask for but, importantly does not recognise a negative. Now, in the case of 'do not want back ache' that request becomes 'do want back ache' and that is what you will get back. This simple yet devastating mistake applies to vision boards as well, with people concentrating far too much on their 'don't wants' rather than what they do want.

To be absolutely clear that you are asking the Universal law for what you do want rather than what you 'don't want' be careful to have a vision board that reflects your desires and hopes and things you really want from life, not all the stuff you are fed up with and trying to rid yourself of.

A vision board is the simplest tool to work with to get you in that place in life you long to be, but like anything, you need to know the basics and the rights and the wrongs in using one, otherwise your end success may be limited, difficult to achieve or simply take far longer than is necessary.
